Review: Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

It was Sloane who yanked Emily out of her shell and made life 100% interesting. But right before what should have been the most epic summer, Sloane just…disappears. All she leaves behind is a to-do list.

On it, thirteen Sloane-inspired tasks that Emily would normally never try. But what if they could bring her best friend back?

Apple picking at night? Okay, easy enough.

Dance until dawn? Sure. Why not?

Kiss a stranger? Um...

Emily now has this unexpected summer, and the help of Frank Porter (totally unexpected), to check things off Sloane's list. Who knows what she’ll find?

Go skinny-dipping? Wait...what?

Hi people. I can’t describe you how tired I am so I’ll try to keep this short but write all my thoughts down...

The first time I saw the cover of the book I was in love. I didn't read synopsis all I knew that this book was about friendship and everybody who read it loved it. Few weeks ago my copy finally came.

My dear friend/sister read it before me and was thrilled by it, and me? What about me? Hmm, I can say I’m not that thrilled even though book was good. In the end I think I expected too much of it and didn't like it that much. I guess it’s almost the same as with Even in Paradise book. Everybody liked it and I wasn't.

Don’t get me wrong; I enjoyed quite a bit, but in the end I expected more. I expected more friendship and not friend who abandoned the other friend... as story was going I hoped for some romance but didn't get that ether. In some parts was little predictable, and in the first half of the book just a little bit boring, and in the end I was left wondering what happened next :(

So yeah, I’m not jumping up and down about this one, but I’m not sorry that I read it. It was good read for summer :)
